I grew up in New DeRoche (Hot Spring County) and graduated from Bismarck High School and Henderson State University. Terry and I have been married for 34 years and have two great sons (Kevin and Matt), daughter-in-law Julia, and two beautiful granddaughters (Lexi and Olivia). Terry and I joined Hot Springs HOG in 2006 when we got our first Harley. I felt a little out of place for a while as I didn’t know anyone in the Chapter and had never ridden before.  That all changed as we started attending meetings and going on the group rides.  Now I would be lost without my Hot Springs HOG family.  I am honored to serve as your Membership Officer and I want to make you feel as welcome in the group as I do.  Come join us and bring your friends!

Arkansas born and raised.  Learned to ride a Cushman when I was ten or eleven---been riding something ever since.  I am a retired high school teacher and senior high counselor.  The teachers at school thought I was crazy because I rode motorcycles (remember when sex was safe and motorcycles were dangerous?).  Retired and bought my first Harley in 2001---I have owned and ridden most all brands.  I am now on my third Harley---2008 Ultra Classic, and love it.  I can't see me now buying anything less than a Harley.  My wife Carolyn and I are both HOG members.  I am a Charter Member of Hot Springs HOG.  I love to travel on my Harley, earned my Iron Butt Certificate last summer.  You will not find a more passionate Harley owner and rider than I.  All my friends call me "Popeye".
I joined the HOG chapter in 2006, and found many "kindred spirits" among the members.  Currently ride a 2013 Ultra-Classic Limited "Peace Officer's Edition and this my 4th year as Membership Officer.  My wife Brenda is also a chapter member and a great "ride-mate" and partner.  To all prospective members, come to a meeting and visit - I think you'll enjoy being a part of the Hot Springs H.O.G.

Steve and I are Charter Members in our club.  I have been riding for 23 years.  I started on a Sporty and have owned 8 Harley's since. Currently I ride a Canary Yellow 2011 Heritage Softail.
I have only had one wreck in 25 years of riding, an unfamiliar bike, and was told I took "air" ramping off of a hill.  I don't remember!!  Yes, I lived. My favorite saying as to why I ride is........If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand.
My biker family is an important part of who I am.  I have gotten to know so many wonderful people through Harley.  I am so thankful that GOD has blessed me through a motorcycle

Char is in charge of activities. She loves her job as much as she use to love performing as a headliner at the Tropicana in Las Vegas. Two shows a night and three on weekends took it's toll and after she witnessed an event and was placed into the witness protection program she was moved to Hot Springs and Scotty became her handler. Char knew he was the one. and the rest as they say is history. Char loves riding and seeing the country on the back of a Harley.
